Dual tray ducts direct cool airflow on the top and bottom of the switch, and two boxes direct airflow to the sides. The side boxes create a concentrated exhaust pathway to prevent warm air from recirculating back to the rack’s cold-aisle side. The 9U unit is designed specifically to accept Cisco Nexus 7000 switches, but its modular and spacious design can also house other equipment that requires concentrated ducting.
