Wireless gas detector
This is a wireless gas detector that can operate independently or as an accessory for iGET SECURITY alarms. This detector is also compatible with many other brands of alarms.
Depending on the location, it can detect natural gas (LNG, CNG), coal gas, propane butane (LPG) and petroleum substances.
The gas detector is already an integral part of houses, cottages, apartments, garages, etc., the use is in many ways:
- Gas cooker in the kitchen,
- in boilers
- in the garage for a car with LPG, LNG, CNG.
Main parameters:
- The detector is designed for all rooms where gas level monitoring is necessary,
- as soon as it detects the gas, the warning LED flashes red and the detector siren is triggered,
- the detector can also be wirelessly connected to the iGET SECURITY M2B alarm system for guaranteed comprehensive protection. The alarm also triggers the siren and sends an SMS when an alarm signal is received,
- The detector operates on 433 MHz frequency, thanks to which it can be used with many other brands of alarms that operate on the same frequency,
- easy extension of the basic iGET SECURITY alarm set,
- includes a test button to check functionality.
Possible location and use of the detector:
- Gases that are lighter than air rise, place the detector near the ceiling
Place the detector 15 to 30 cm below the ceiling, and 60 cm from the corners, i.e. from where two walls converge. It must be at least 1.2 m from the gas source to avoid false alarms. These are:
- Natural gas (LNG, CNG),
- Coal gas.
- Gases that are heavier than air, sink to the ground, place detector to the ground:
Place the detector 15 to 30 cm above the ground, and 60 cm away from corners, i.e. from where two walls converge. It must be at least 1.2 m from the source of the gas to avoid false alarms. These are:
- Propane butane (LPG),
- Petroleum substances.
