It is meticulously crafted and fine-tuned for short response times, offering gamers and keyboard enthusiasts a luxurious typing feel. Furthermore, the switches are not soldered but mounted on sockets, making them easy to replace without soldering.
This Barebone version of the popular Ducky One 3 comes without switches and keycaps, allowing you to decide which switches and keycaps you prefer.
The version offered here is in the Mini format, which is the smallest variant and omits the numeric keypad, navigation, arrow keys, and function keys. This minimizes the desk space it occupies and is well-suited for experienced users and dedicated gamers who know exactly what they need.
QUACK Mechanics
This keyboard introduces the manufacturer's design philosophy, QUACK Mechanics. Ducky considers four essential aspects that are crucial for the typing experience: keycaps, the casing, the sound, and the stabilizers.
Flat Casing and Gentle Sound
A common criticism of mechanical keyboards is their bulkiness. The newly designed casing of the Ducky One 3 is flatter than that of its predecessors and, in combination with the three-stage feet, provides wrist support.
To improve sound and typing feel, Ducky tested a total of 17 different rubber composite materials and selected the most suitable variant for the Q-Bounce pad. This pad is combined with an additional EVA foam layer to effectively dampen resonances during typing and hard key presses.
Beautiful RGB Lighting for Your Gaming Setup
The Ducky One 3 features upward-facing Per-Key LEDs that beautifully illuminate your keyboard. You can cycle through various lighting modes and colors with a key combination. Of course, you can also deactivate the lighting as desired.
