More information on IP68 protection
The water resistance of the watch is at IP68 level, which means that it is resistant to dust and short-term immersion in water. The watch is not intended for diving, swimming, staying in a sauna or long term immersion in water. Showering with this watch is not recommended as the waterproof protection is designed for normal temperatures. High temperatures can cause this protection to deform and allow water vapor to enter the device, which can lead to corrosion damage to the display or chip.
If you are looking for a diving or swimming watch, please choose one that states water resistance of at least 5 ATM (water pressure test).
Important notices:

It is important to avoid contact with soapy water, salt water, water with shampoo, conditioner, etc. This is because the IP test protocol uses pure drinking water for testing.
All water resistant watches, whether electronic, mechanical or quartz, should not be worn while showering.
IP68-rated watches are not suitable for swimming, as the various movements during swimming change the water pressure, which can cause water to penetrate the watch. Similarly, there could be problems with pressure fluctuations when jumping into the water, for example.
The main thing you should avoid when using an IP68 watch in water is turning the crown (the rotating button on the side) or pressing the watch buttons.

If the watch comes into contact with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, perfume, solvents, detergents, acids, acidic foods, repellents, sunscreen, oil, hair dye or other substances other than water, it is important to rinse it immediately with clean lukewarm water and dry it gently with a lint-free cloth. These chemicals can damage the seals and acoustic membranes of the watch.
